Position Overview
As a member of the team, you will be responsible for production support and maintenance activities. The position entails working within engineering teams to serve our growing client base. The Network Engineer has primary responsibility for LAN/WAN support and maintenance, including heavy interaction with end-users in diverse computing environments.

Primary Responsibilities
- Operation, administration, and support of various hardware devices including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, wireless LAN controllers and other networking devices
- Write, review, implement and document configuration changes in customer environments
- Communicating with client (and internal) end user and management groups regarding infrastructure design, maintenance, and administration
- Work under limited direction with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment
- Maintain and pursue additional technical certifications, as required by the organization
- Review documentation written by others that describes implementation and operating procedures
- Leadership and mentoring of team members
- Other reasonable Network Engineer services associated with the planning, deployment, installation, administration, and management
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise-level network design and deployment
- Proficient with the design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring of core LAN/WAN/ MAN services, as well as Wireless solutions
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent certification and experience. NSE 4 preferred.
- Expertise in creating repeatable, reliable, scalable network architectures, with fault tolerance, performance tuning, monitoring systems, statistics/metrics collection, and disaster recovery
- Expert working knowledge (including the ability to setup, configure, upgrade, manage, and troubleshoot) Fortigate firewalls, Meraki switches, and Meraki wireless solutions.
- Familiarity with network equipment from other vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto and Sophos
- Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, including packet-level traffic analysis
- In-depth understanding of network security and access control
- Must have strong knowledge and configuration experience with networking features and protocols such as STP, ARP, CDP, VTP, Etherchannel, 802.1Q trunking, MLS, HSRP, QoS, multicast, 802.11, IPsec, RADIUS/TACACS+, SNMP
- Additional areas of expertise in areas such as VoIP desired
- Experience with network management tools such as Sniffers, Ethereal, Solarwinds Orion a plus
- Experience supporting networks in virtualized and cloud environments, particularly VMWare and Azure

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 0800-1700hrs EST time
